A PASSION FOR TASTE

Here at Bittersweet Baking, our goal is to make fantastic desserts that taste as good as they look.  Not surprisingly, we believe dessert is the most important part of a meal.  It’s the last thing your guests will enjoy, so it’s important to make it memorable.  Whether you’re planning a wedding reception for 500 or an intimate dinner party for 4, we can provide that perfect ending for your special event.

What sets us apart from other bakers is simple.  We use the best ingredients we can find and make all our desserts from scratch.  We use locally grown products like Oregon hazelnuts, berries, butter and cream.  We support organic farmers by using organically grown apples, carrots, bananas and shade grown coffee.  We use the best European chocolate, real Madagascar vanilla beans and pure extracts.  Every dessert is made to order, never frozen.  Each dessert is prepared by hand, never from a mix.  We squeeze our own lemons, crack our own eggs, toast our own nuts and whip our cream by hand.   It just tastes better this way.  Here's what a few customers have had to say:
